James Combs and Linda Good are The Plush Interiors, based in Los Angeles. Their distinctive sound melds vintage song forms with modern machines.

You may know James’ arty pop music from his stint as a solo recording artist on ultra-hip west coast label Ubiquity Records (he also produces Chris Douridas’ influential radio program for KCRW, Santa Monica.) You may have seen Linda on tour as keyboardist for major alternative acts like Bitter:Sweet, Jane's Addiction, and The Mars Volta or heard her power pop band, The Twigs.

The Plush Interiors have been commissioned to score commercials for major international companies including Wal-Mart, Nike, Honda, Sears, Hyundai, BMW, Origins, McDonalds, Visa, Toyota, and Sutter Health.

The debut video of their signature song, “Lately I Wonder,” was directed by Michael Klima, a visual effects genius who most recently worked for George Lucas at Skywalker Ranch.  It was shot on location in historic downtown Los Angeles.

As songwriters and composers, the duo have seen their music placed in films and TV shows including SIX FEET UNDER (HBO), TRUE BLOOD (HBO), ENTOURAGE (HBO), 90210 (CW), DEXTER (SHOWTIME), MEN IN TREES (ABC), GOSSIP GIRL (CW), SUMMERLAND (WB), SWINGTOWN (CBS), LAS VEGAS (NBC), CRUEL INTENTIONS 3 (Sony), SAVED (TNT) and the Paramount Pictures film AMERICAN TEEN.
